Just got a couple of quick Q's.
1. Where are the best places and best conditions to go gliding?
2. Where are some really good water strips?

I can help you with the first question;
One place I know in real life that is a very popular sailplane spot, is Harris Hill in Elmira, NY. It is the home of the National Soaring Museum, and near the Schweitzer gliders are made (Elmira, NY)

I don't know for the water strips, but for the gliding, I think Sion in Switzerland is a very nice place, full of valleys and mountains to explore while gliding.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

what sort of weather conditions do I need to set up for optimal gliding? Also how are the natural thermals meant to be shown on FS, because it says something about there being birds soaring but I can't find anything when put on Natural.
