Now I hope I'm not confusing with another user. Sorry Spindrift if this is the case Wink The real user will recognize himself... well, his signature at least Cheesy

And before anyone asks: this is a work-in-progress. The plane is being converted from an XPlane model by a user on a French forum. Currently it has incomplete modelling, no virtual cockpit, no sounds, no gauges, no propeller, nothing but a big part of the exterior 3D model. I'm really waiting for the final version  Cool

The scenery is from OZx if I remember correctly, it's the Elba island.
The plane is not really available yet. I just did a bit of beta testing together with a few other members of that other forum. That's why I wrote it's still a work in progress.

Very cool Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

HOLY COW!

Yes Daube, that was me with the Porco Rosso Sig, and yes I JUST changed it last night! What timing! PLEASE keep us in the loop on this baby, Hayao Miyazaki's fictional Savoia S-21! (He's a real aircraft nut, all of his Manga and films have flying machines in them...)

Smiley Smiley Smiley

p.s. That scenery is amazing! Elba you say? As in Bonaparte's? is it freeware or payware?

Haha !! Good to see my memory is still working a little bit Cheesy
I'll keep you all informed about the lifecycle of this baby, no problems.

On a side note, I'm going to Japan in a week and will finally take the opportunity to visit the Ghibli museum  Cool

For the scenery, yes of course it's freeware. It's part of a big package containing some Italian coast area, I can't remember exactely which one but the description on the website (OzX) says it all.

Have a great trip! I have a friend in Osaka, a fellow Miyazaki fan, and he loves the Ghibli Museum! Be sure to eat at the Cafe there too, he says it's great.

Thanks for the tip on Elba... heading over to the O-to-the-Z-to-the-X as we speak...
