Havin' some fun with FSRecorder and the
ARX-6 Roadrunner
for FSX
This is a cool little airplane.......extremely maneuverable and very simple
I decided to do a little in-prompt to race around Edwards AFB with a couple of 'em.
Rounding into the START line, which is the beginning of RW 4.
Crossin' the start line.....
Rounding the control tower headed toward the Osprey hangar.
I was flying the red plane, trying to gain a little altitude so
that I can dive into the hangar adding some speed.....
I'm making my run here......after the hangar we do a loop and a 90 degree turn to the finish.....
The speed acquired from the dive allowed me to gain on my opponent (which was a recording of myself flying a different livery) while climbing
into the loop and overtake him on the last turn by going a little wide.
Thanks 4 looking

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I just took a look at your full serie of shots, very nice set I have to say. Indeed this bird seems to be quite a lot of fun. I wish it were a retractable wheel version though. The IRIS BD-5 is still the most funny micro-plane in my hangar.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

Thanks, Stephane......the BD-5 looks like a lot of fun too
