I read somewhere what the best zoom setting was for a wide screen tv/monitor.  If memory serves, it was .56 for FS2004 but was different for FSX.

If anyone has read the article or knows what the best setting is for FSX, would you please tell me or put a link to the article up for me.

Regards

Indeed.Personnaly, I use a wide screen monitor and I'm really happy with the 0.50 zoom.

Also, no sure if you know this or not, but there is an option to turn on a "widescreen" mode.  It is located in your FSX.cfg.  That might help.  Personally I use that mode with a zoom of .50.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies guy, but not quite what I was looking for.  I use 0.56 zoom on fs2004 but it does not look the same on fsx, and yes I do use widescreen for fsx.

Apparently there is a formula to work it out, something like 1900x1200x32=? but I cannot remember where I read it.....oh well, thanks again
