Good morning all... Smiley

This post is with regards to a previous post of mine, same section....Ant's Tiger Moth...

Well I just notice this and not sure how to fix it.

I do not have my MAXX Control Yoke and Rudder Pedals anymore.  I wore them out using FS98, FS2000, FS2002 and FS2004.
Can't remember if I used them in FSX or not but think I did.

They do not make MAXX anymore or at least I can't find the company.

So now I use a Logitech Attack3 Joystick.
Have just run a Test on it and all is well... Smiley

In the Realism Section of FSX I have Autorudder checked.

As I could not see any movement in the rudder on the Ant's Tiger Moth I tried several other FSX Default Aircraft.
-Piper Cub....could not see any rudder movement
-Maule.........could not see any rudder movement but rudder
                   trim tab moved
-Beaver.......could not see any rudder movement
-Cessna 172..could not see any rudder movement

Tried all these on the runway and in the air.

So surmising without Rudder Pedals to go with the Yoke or Stick there will not be any seen Rudder or Tail Wheel movement.

Funny...think I have had this Attack3 Joystick for a year and just noticed this now.... Grin

Looking to purchase a new control system perhaps with a motion chair... Smiley

Does anyone think there might be something else I missed?

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Dave from Barnsley :-

"the biggest flaw of all is that you cannont twist it to control the rudder , this effectively makes it useless !"

Hmmmm  Smiley

I use an old logitech 'wingman' - which does allow you to twist it. And its got force-feedback that makes that much noise it  scares the cat. Next doors cat.

Id like somthing a lot better though.

But one question? How did you taxi about?  Wink

I have no problems on my old ms force feed back, it has a rolling stick. Just tested it.
But i use Hotas cougar and that is another case. I need to set the rolling/rudder on ant elev, and that one, is not easy to control at 200 mph.

Hi "todayshorse"

The aircraft will all taxi OK, it is I just can't see any Rudder movement and that just seems odd.  Not sure how long this has been going on because at one time I could see rudder movement.

That is the cause of your problem. As your joystick has no rudder control you will have to use the keyboard rudder commands or assign buttons to them
