Try turning aircraft shadows OFF & tell me if that fixed it.

I confirm these words. It's a well known bug: AI will dissappear at some addon airports if the ground shadows (not the scenery shadows, the shadows from the planes) are activate in the options.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

Just had this issue after updating my AIA models with the FSX native ones. Caught a 737-600 flying around, only the nav lights could be seen. Went into the model folder and noticed a typo on the model.cfg file. Model=
m
ormal vice = normal, fixed no longer invisible.

The bug should not affect FSX native AI aircraft. I understand it's caused by runway lighting on some 3rd party scenery. From a quick seach, one of the culprits is Aerosoft & I noticed that scalper has just installed their Heathrow scenery. There are several alternatives for fixing it. The easiest method is to turn aircraft shadows OFF when using these airports. More info here -->

Thanks scalper for being brave enough to post that problem. I too had invisible planes, well wing tips and wheels only but no fuselage but was too embarrassed to ask on the forum.
It only started after installing VFR photograghic scenery for Scotland South but switching off shadows has fixed it. Thanks everyone.
