I recently downloaded a Boeing 777 and it really is amazing. Anyway, I want to use this aircraft to fly the Kai Tak approach however I have a problem.

The 2D cockpit is from the Boeing 737-800 and the virtual cockpit is from the Boeing 777. The virtual cockpit doesn't work and it's acting all weird. The instruments are flashing but when I enter 2D cockpit, its fine since it's from the Boeing 737-800.

I don't know if it's possible or not but if it is, how do I change the virtual cockpit to the same one as the Boeing 737-800?

Thank you so much

PS: I know I may be annoying since I have posted quite a lot of questions on this forum but you guys have helped me out a ton. I will definitely narrow down my use of questions from now on so forgive me.

If its a POSKY model, then leave the VC.  It's a very nice quality VC, and you don't want to ruin it with the default VC.  I have the POSKY cockpit, and i'm running the Wilco 777 (very crappy payware) Gauges and FMC in the cockpit.  If you want a better cockpit display, do this;
1.) download this plane (it's free, and this is the American, you can also get the United) -> http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=22009_Blaq_Aces_Posky777-200_RR...
2.) you can keep this plane, and/or transfer the gauges into your 777.
3.) the 2D and 3D (VC) will have the gauges from the FS9 777, and it's very nice.

Or you can do what I did with the FMC, buy the Wilco 777 (NOT recommended, but yes when it goes on sale) and transfer the gauges and redo the panel.CFG to make the wiclo gauges work in the 3D.

hope it didn't confuse you to much.  Tongue

What file are you talking about?

Most of the 777's for FSX with VC work fine -- if you tell me the file that you've been unlucky with I will take a look.

It's a freeware posky B777. The virtual cockpit is quite nice however, when I'm in virtual cockpit view, the instruments are flashing like they are bugged or something.

I basically just wanted to change the virtual cockpit to that of a Boeing 737-800.

EDIT: Here's where I downloaded the B777 from: http://www.megaflightsim.com/freeware-addon-news

FSX Korean Air Cargo Boeing 777

The virtual cockpit is messed up.

Besides ,777 Opensky Model Is FS9-SDK compilation ,the VC is in ONE single MDL file from fs9-SDK, It can
not
,in any possible way , exchange the Cockpit, remove it or improve the same way FSX-SDK MDLs compilations does
