hey guys,

i recently purchased captain sims boeing 767-300 and a 200 pack. its a fantastic aircraft but i cant seem to get the autopilot to work  Sad

ive tried a lot of things, even using the hotkeys but unfortunatly it just doesnt seem to work in the VC. i can get the speed holder to work but that is as far as it goes. if anybody has this aircraft please let me know if youve had the problem and know how to fix it.

Thanks

Alright you need to know the FMC, or Flight Mangament Computer.  It holds your flight plan, waypoints, weight and VSpeeds.  If your flying with the stupid NAV/ GPS stuff then you bought the wrong plane.  If you want to learn go onto google and type "CS 767 FMC tutorial"
Or I could help you since I also own the plane  Roll Eyes

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Sorry for placing this in the wrong area.

Huh there is a wrong plane to buy?

my issue is that only the speed buttons work, i can put the autothrottle on and i can set the speed and it will keep that speed but when it comes down to headings or altitude or attitude i just cant engage the autopilot at all. i could be being really stupid and just missing something but ive tried a few things.

hope this helps a little. cheers for your help

So are you using LNAV/VNAV?
