I'd like to "Add" some Aircraft views from inside the passenger cabins on some of my Propliners I have, like 3 or 4 views looking out the windows.  How can I go about doing that ? I am familiar with editing the Aircraft CFG File, and I just don't know how to come up with the right set of View Parimeters (numbers) to achieve what I'm wanting.  I know the parimeters have to be put under the Views in the Aircraft CFG file, but how does a dumb wanna-be pilot (me - Shocked) go about figuring that out ?? any help - Thanks . the Jetranger ( I'm just a propliner nut ! Lips Sealed......

that would the camera definitions which are in Aircraft.cfg  ;...
for example this

[CameraDefinition.0]
Title = "Right Side Window"
Guid = {54F54B8A-3EC2-2D4E-8D10-B8F9D0F16ACC}
Description = View of the right wing from the passenger cabin
Origin = Center
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = FALSE
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = FALSE
Track = None
ShowAxis = FALSE
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = 0.8
ShowWeather = Yes
InitialXyz = 3.2, 1.8, -5
InitialPbh = 5, 0, 100

XyzAdjust = TRUE
Category=Aircraft
MomentumEffect=TRUE
ClipMode=Minimum

You can add as many you'd like ,the red colors I showing you tell you the position ,Other are parameters like If it has to be lock No movement ,and other parameters  Cool

You won't be able to get a passenger wing view through window if the interior of the plane is not modelled.
For example, if you take the default liners, the interior only includes the front cabin. The passengers cabin is not in the model.

So, once you have managed to find a plane with a 3D interior, what you need to do is to create a new [CameraDefinition.x] with appropriate parameters. Mainly, the "origin" value should be "center" (for internal views), and then you'll have to find the correct values for the position XYZ coordinates, and the view orientation XYZ.

EDIT: Alejandro is too fast for me  Grin

Ohhh Boy, well, I'll have to give my hand at trying to screw up 1 of my Aircraft I'm not all that crazy about,, after I "Save" the original CFG file, just in case. I understand that if the Aircraft does NOT have a modeled Virtual passenger cabin interior, one will NOT be able to add views out the window from inside. But, I do have some aircraft with a modeled interior with no X-Tra views, don't know why, their Add On' Aircraft, maybe the designer forgot or didn't know how , who knows, but I'll definetly give my hand at it, and see what happens and make a Video and post it to YOU TUBE and give everybody here who helped me achieve this major Feat, credits in the Video !!!  Smiley Smiley Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Shocked Shocked how that sound ??  Thanks again for the help & reply ! the Jetranger

Alrot, the GUID has to be diferent in each one!
[CameraDefinition.0]
Title = "Right Side Window"
Guid = {54F54B8A-3EC2-2D4E-8D10-B8F9D0F16ACC}

Description = View of the right wing from the passenger cabin
Origin = Center
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = FALSE
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = FALSE
Track = None
ShowAxis = FALSE
AllowZoom = TRUE
InitialZoom = 0.8
ShowWeather = Yes

InitialXyz = 3.2, 1.8, -5
InitialPbh = 5, 0, 100

XyzAdjust = TRUE
Category=Aircraft
MomentumEffect=TRUE
ClipMode=Minimum

Here, use this GUID generator:

Up is the way to go.

Sometimes I assume that people knows as a fact things that probably they don't ,yes the Interior model and exterior model are two completly diferent things and are shape in diferent Gmax,3dmax,fsds sessions

and yes that GUI has to be unique ,just change one number or apply one with the generator that Xpand 's link given to you
