Hi all.
I've been all over for this.
Anyone of you have a decent virtuel cockpit for Olssons and chililo's F16 in FSX?
I appreciate for any help.

If its for the the cockpit itself with the canopy were you can't see out of, there's a fix for that

First of all, Kirk's F-16 is a FS9 plane... might even be FS2002. It's old and far away from today's standards. Additionnaly, because it's not a FSX plane, you cannot replace its virtual cockpit by another one. You can change the 2D gauges in the best case, that's all.
Then, you wrote that you got some payware F-16 for FSX ? Which ones ? Because the ones I know are quite complete and extremely detailled. Even though their avionics are not comparable to the VRS Super Hornet, it's still quite interesting nevertheless, that there are absolutely no freewares that come even close to them. Actually, Kirks F-16 is one of the only F-16 ever made for FS9 with a virtual cockpits, so for freewares there are no alternatives.

I know that Daube, but with some mods it still flyes very well.
I love to puzzle around with this, and made some other f9 ac working good in fsx, but this one is hanging.
Maybe you're right. The problem with free uploaded f16 for fsx (ex USViperX) are, that the uploader still use old gauges not compatible in fsx.
I've tried AEROsoft' f16, but as i said above i'm looking for a more "decent" vc. Its good yes, but maybe a good one can be better. I'm sure YOU understand my thinking.

The Asrosoft F-16 is the best on the market fot F-16's. if you don't Like it make your own to fit in to your flying habit

A more "decent VC" than in the Aerosoft F-16 ?
Are you kidding ?
Are you sure this is really the Aerosoft F-16 that you have tried ? Because it's one of the best-looking VCs out there, and an old freeware from FS2002 will never provide you anything comparable. No disrespect to Kirk's excellent work, but his model is several years old, it was even one of the very first freeware military planes for FS9, it's not going to look anything like today's FSX serious paywares...
For information, THIS is the Aerosoft F-16 cockpit. I fail to see how Kirk's F-16 could get even close...

I suspect it's the forum anti-spam feature. It won't allow you to post a reply too quickly. Wait a minute or so & it's fine.
I find this very frustrating myself.

This is all off topic & not adding to the thread. I will delete this today later hopefully after you guys have read it.
We have a 30 second repost to prevent spammers. Any of you guys run a site that has 50 spammers registering every day & trying to post multiple messages?

Thank you all.
Then i'm considered a spammer if i got a quick answer!
But ok.
First. Pete you are right on the usviperx. I got a conflict on "viper" in the .cfg files.
Second. I tried the aerosoft on a freinds mid pc. Not that i were "flying high" and sastisfied with it, but now i want to try it installed on my own high end.
Payware or freeware. Well, there is freeware out there that matches pw. Take a look at this
http://flightsim.bookmark.se/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&id...
I know, its not f16, but anyway.
And pete.
Hope you'll remember, before deleting, that we, over here, are sleeping when you are "up to date".

Pete.
Getting back to the usviperx.zip
Not working right here.
I get a lot of old 98 gauges, not working in fsx.
(All my other f16 is deleted from the sim, promise.)
Why?
