Aircraft: Cameron Hot Air Balloon
Location: Bear Camp Research Station
British Columbia...Canada
All Freeware and a great place to look is right here at the Simviation Download Site...

Season: Fall
Early morning takeoff or as I think the ballonist call it..."Morning Glow"...

The chase vehicle would have to be an Amphibious Helicopter and radio communications would be a vital asset to transmit location flying over terrain like this...

If you have never had a ride in a Hot Air Balloon or Glider get out there and take one.
There is nothing like it unless maybe you are someone who jumps out of perfectly good aircraft with a bedsheet over your head... Grin

Bear Camp Research Station

Departing with case of pork and beans, loaf of buttered bread, cheese, champagne and lots of tea...

Our Airspeed is almost as fast as a herd of turtles...

Gosh what a beautiful morning....

During the winter you can actually remove your coat, sweaters...etc...as it is quite warm in the basket even with only two people...

You can actually change direction with a balloon by going up or down...

Wind change...time to climb...

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
