Also....a close up of the plug-hole which drained all the water from the surface of the Moon 6 billion years ago?... Shocked

http://web.orange.co.uk/article/news/ai_technology_could_help_find_leaks

Amazing photos of the Moon explorations, from a long way away...250,000 miles!

I notice there is a Super Nova occurring in the Constellation of the Plough to watch tonight!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-14817349

Time to get the binoculars/telescope out!

I do believe, but why are the pictures such a crap quality. Satellites that Google Earth used from 150miles up show the BBQ on my deck as plain as day. These are taken from 13 miles and still don't show much more that some out of focus pixels Huh Huh

The close-up images on Google Earth are taken by aeroplanes that fly over and take the pictures. They're only a few thousand feet high. As far as I know, the satellite images themselves are only good enough to resolve a 1-meter-square patch of earth, on Earth, to one pixel.

You are correct, the higher resolution aerial images you see today, including most on Google Earth, are taken from aircraft, usually under 10,000 feet.

Conspirers are everywhere. Moon landings could not have been faked, in my humble opinion. If you lived through the cold war era, you should understand the chest bumping between the East and West and the constant monitoring of each others activities. Just saying..

A lot of the accusations were about the levels of technology available at the time. Sure, the rockets had as much memory as a desk calculator, but if you're using a fairly simple system (compared to modern rockets and shuttles) then it was enough.

Don't get me wrong, going to the moon was hard, but it wasn't that hard. Propulsion, aerodynamics, controls, oxygen, living quarters and a pod with reverse thrust. The difficulty was doing it for the first time, and they had enough casualties and failures to get to where they are now.

Even Chavez said recently said in Public that the moon landing were fake

all this conspiracy theory are simply people jealous and haters of the United States ,people that want and try to damage the US some how, and it only show their ignorance

This type of thing shows their lack of knowledge ,the lack of readings

You will never see a Physicist or any REAL scientist claim such of stupidity

I recently have a forum ( a real one alive me and 3 astronomers and one PhD astrophysicist in local public library and many people without studies in their life hold this theory ,When I ask to one of them where are your sources of what you claim ? he didn't knew what was the word "Sources" and he change the subject by talking about how the extraterrestrials made the Pyramids in Giza Roll Eyes

Its more easy to destroy than build , 10 years of Apollo Program working ,even some people gave their life ..

I learned at a very early age to question everything the scientists & self-styled "experts" tried to tell me.

There you have it... these pxs are no proof that any of mankind have landed on the Moon -- it was extraterrestrials, disguised in human-like footware, that left fake evidence.

I don't know if I'd discredit them with that. Although there were some scary, even deadly, events in their missions, there was much that happened throughout man's history -- the axe about to cleave your skull, the oversized predator about to chomp it, etc. -- that caused the production of cheese whiz long before the days of NASA.

The amount of money and resources it would have taken to cover that up...probably less than the money and resources it took to get men on the moon for real.

I saw a show on some tv channel about moon conspiracy theorists and the filmmakers pointed out that there's a set of mirrors at one of the landing sites that we shoot a laser at to figure out how far away the moon is.  They told a bunch of the conspiracy theorists about it and they were just like 'oh...well...it's still fake!'
