The History channel broadcasted a very real documentary on the evening of 9-11 called "102 Minutes That Changed America". It is a very moving, surreal, detailed version of what happened that morning. There is no narrator; it is a minute by minute account from actual real videos sent in by hundreds of people who videotaped it while the events unfolded. These videos are un-edited and really give you a perspective into the terror, chaos, fear and confusion on that morning. If you have the time, watch it on youtube. I have provided the links to all 8 parts. I guarantee you it is like nothing you have "seen" before. Having lost 3 friends in the attacks and still am close with the families who lost their husbands, fathers & friends, it was a chilling experience to watch this when it aired this past Tuesday on 9-11, 10 years after the attack. After watching it you will understand why none of us here "will never forget..."

Oh my. Shocked  Just of my goodness. Shocked
That is one of the most horrifying things I have ever seen.  And I only watched part one.  that explosion from 13:30-13:37 of the video was just too much for me.  I don't think I'll ever be able to get those images out of my head.  There is just simply no words or emoticons or anything on this Earth or solar system or in all of our dimension to express my feelings of that, and I'm not even personally related to the incident except through being an american and loving to fly big jets in FS.  I know it's really good information, but I wish I had listened to that guy at the beginning.  If I actually dream tonight while sleeping, and I EXTREMELY rarely dream while sleeping, maybe once or twice a year, I just KNOW it'll be a nightmare. Undecided

You have absolutely NO idea how much I just want to rant on cursing and swearing those idiot terrorists, but I just can't bring myself to say or type the words around anyone else.  Especially fellow simmers. Lips Sealed

I understand what you mean club. The Osama trash bin laden also launched his attacks on my country. Just they aren't nearly as Publicised nor as tragic as the 9/11 attacks. But I'm really glad they got that Bin laden but sadly terrorism and e.t.c will be there as long as humanity maintain our current attitude and not change for the better.
I have sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to say but I dont want to End up saying something that offends Anyone Undecided

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

In my opinion, this is the best documentary they have made on this topic. It was new a year or two ago and it's done beautifully.

Cool

Yes, opinions about the people who did it, their religion, etc will be left out. I just felt that after watching this that I wanted to share with those who might be interested...

I watched the whole video and it brought tears to eyes. On the day it happened I was on a jobsite and never new what happened until the 2nd tower was collapsing. By the time I got the bad news I looked at my coworker and said, This was an act of war. It may be possible that security was the reason that I got my late wifes phone messages 6 months after.
