Good evening all...
Was out today chewing the rag with a few other Old Retired Rocking Chair Flying Geezers and one of the lads had an article on this.

Thought I would look it up when I got home and post the above Link...

Marvel-ous Doug.
I had completely forgotten about it. I can't remember when I saw something on it last.
Mississippi State has a very, very good electronics engineering school and some of their students worked on the B1 and some nuclear subs.
A friend of mine was one of them. Have not heard from him in quite a while.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Goodly morning all...
Thanks for the comment Larry...
I have seen one or two other aircraft that look quite similar
in appearance to that one and for the love of me can not think of their names or where I saw them...
Larry is it true we have memory lapses as we get older...can't remember...

Very cool aircraft! Thanks for the link. I love unusual airplanes.
As for others that are similar in appearance: At the bottom of the wikipedia article in your link, there is a section that says "see also", under that are two links under the headline "comparable aircraft". Those might be what you were thinking of. You might also check out the
