Yes, that is correct, you will be able to install RW textures ONLY.  You will be able to fully pick and choose what you want from REX and be able to combine it to fit your tastes with whatever textures you want to use from other places (for instance, you can have REX Cumulus clouds, and Flight Environment Cirrus clouds, etc...).

Not that you asked, but here is my advice, for what it is worth.  DON'T ever let REX mess with your lights (aircraft, runway, etc).  Make sure those boxes are always unchecked before you "install" textures.  If you find that your strobe lights have unexpectedly turned blue, then you will know....
