That's correct. It's using the default B747_400 panel. You can install a more suitable third party panel if you can find one.
For a thumbnail image to display on the selection menu you can take a screenshot & save it as thumbnail.jpg. Pop it in the Texture folder of the A380.

That's fine if you can get it to work. I never could for some unknown reason.
