I installed Nick and Paul's sun mod (on the FSWC site) and it said I didn't have to back up any files, so I didn't. Then the sun was gone when I ran FSX!
I uninstalled the sun mod, and it said it would restore the default sun, but it didn't.
Silly me for not backing it up anyways.
So can someone please send me the sun textures in a PM or email. I really don't want to reinstall AGAIN.
Thanks.

I don't understand why it doesn't work for you... which version of FSX are you running ?

FSX SP2. I had SP1 before, and it worked fine. But this is Nick and Pauls sun mod (http://www.fswaterconfigurator.com/downloads.htm)

Check your main "Texture" folder.  You should have four "Sun" related files: corona1,  sun, sun6, and sunglow.

In your FSX directory, you should have a "suneffect".  Not in the "Effects" folder, but in the FSX root itself, right under "stars.dat".

IIRC, NickN's sun package included a back-up folder with the originals.  if you have the original zip, you should be able to restore the originals.  But I'd check to see if that "suneffect" is in the right place, first.
