While flying a Cessna 208 the other day I noticed that the default aircraft does not have landing lights installed, nor is there a line for it in the configuration, is there some way to fix this?

Yes it does, mounted on the leading edge of both wings.

Control is by 'left ldg' or 'right ldg' switch on the 'Lights' switch panel or default Ctrl+L key assignment.

Landing lights that illuminate the ground are part of the model and do not use an aircraft.cfg-[lights] section entry.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky
