WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS
Judge Mitch says:
“This was a fantastic Judge's Choice and a bloody tough choice. A great variety of Tupolev aircraft, thanks to everyone for their participation. All the shots were winners but alas I can only choose three and here they are:”
RaptorF22!!
"This could pass as a photo. Very well edited, I absolutely love the look and feel of this shot. The Tu-22 Backfire is a great choice of aircraft for this type of shot. When I look at this shot I am reminded of the Cold War era. The grainy-ness and sepia effect help portray this, giving the appearence of an old/used photograph. Fantastic effort Raptor!!"
CONGRATULATIONS RaptorF22!!!!
"
Aussiewannabe
takes second place!"
"I've loved this shot since the first time I saw it. Very dramatic with that meancing sky and heavy weather. I love the unique angle of this shot showing those massive contra-rotating props of the Tu-114. Good choice of scenery and those extra Tupolev aircraft in the background are also a nice touch. Sterling effort Chris!!"
“
SeanTK
takes home third!'
"It's hard not to like this shot. Great combination of the beautfiul Tu-134 and the impressively detailed scenery. The snowy weather adds a great atompshere to this shot. I also like how the shot appears to have an overall softness about it. To me, this shot really portrays what Soviet Russia is all about. Great effort Sean!!"
Nice work on a great comp!
RaptorF22 is on the bench this week! Can't wait to see what he comes up with for a theme.
A big congratulations to the other finalists, and great job to all that entered.
Cheers
Mitch.

Just fixed up the portfolios and extra congratulations are due for Mitch as he has unlocked the exclusive "Second Line" in his Personal Portfolio, granted to those for winning over 5 Judge's Choice's, no mean feat, as he is only the fourth person in SimV history to do so.
Congratulations Mitch.
Yes, Mitch does enjoy speaking in third person.

Good luck all.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I almost used that one myself. Is that the WOP version, or one of your repaints for another model?
