In an effort to make Simv shirts available, one milestone, is to get a suitable image for the shirt. The best place to get one is right here in Studio V. We have a vast amount of talent here, so I am hoping you will all contribute. This thread will remain open for as long as takes to get our image
established. (Hopefully less than two weeks)

             Here are some guidelines...

We will use the actual Simvation logo and colours, including the Triglobe.

Very large and overly detailed images can't be used.
Picture a shortsleeve shirt with a collar that you would be proud to wear. The image being placed above the pocket area.

One thought is that an aircraft could be placed above the logo, although thats not written in stone.

In a nutshell this image should say who we are and what we do

Simplicity and Consistancy is a must.

Pete will have the final say.

----------------------------------------------

Please participate, all of your efforts would be much appreciated...
Who wants to get the ball rolling?     Smiley

I just think if you add something it gets too complicated. For a small logo on a shirt pocket, simple is best. But, you could add a line below that says something like, "A Flight Simulation Community," or something similar.

True. I didnt want to say to much about the shirt, but a simple logo could be applied to the sleeves. Also It may be possible to provide a windbreaker or a sweatshirt. Good input though Spec.. Who knows.. this could end up as logo only.   Smiley I need more ideas like this or what others want. Collectively we'll find a solution.  Smiley   And just adding text is also brilliant.

What I need is your idea in an image.

I don't have an image available, but just going off of Patchtz idea:

You could have the standard logo with sphere, but below that, have a line of 5 or so different aircraft side-view profiles.

The specific aircraft to use would be up for debate, but to cover most aspects of FS you could have the profiles of: a glider, helicopter, WWII fighter, jetliner, light single or twin.

The profiles themselves would not have livery graphics or anything complex, just the outline filled in with dark blue or something.

Now that is why it's a good idea to throw it open to the membership. I like your idea Sean.

All good ideas so far.. Anyone else want to give it a shot? I really never learned much about graphics, but I know how to get a project done. If I put a free Canadian snowball in a manilla envelope and send it to you.. would that tweak your interest?  Grin  Wink
