Can anyone tell me what the best brand of motherboard and Ram coupled with an i7 920 is good for running FSX. Or is it just personal preference

This is the kind of question that you ask 10 people and you will probably get 10 different answers.

With that said I have an Asus P6T Deluxe v2 that is really good.  If I were to build a system now I would probably go with an Asus P6X58D only because this board supports the new SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0 formats.  Either of these boards are easy to overclock.

My Mushkin Redline DDR3 1,600MHz #998691 6-7-6-18 ram runs great.

I am looking at either the GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5
Or the  ASUS P6T Deluxe V2

What is a good ram for either of these boards
thanks
