Out of a clear blue sky, my keyboard does not accept keystroke commands.... i.e. I can't change the view(the w key), can't pause (the p key), function keys inop, esc key inop. Joystick works fine. What happened? Changed keyboards and still inop. Tried FSX and keyboard works fine. DUH!

Keyboard works fine for e-mail and notepad and all. Just FS9 won't take keystrokes. Crazy!

I've rebooted the computer and restarted FS9 several times. Lord I don't want to reinstall FS9. I've got too much add-on stuff in it. Cry

try going to SETTINGS / ASSIGNMENTS -- RESET DEFAULTS

at times my FS9 does not want to take certain key commands and it is because it somehow gets amnesia and forgets.  so, i reset the default commands and everything is back to normal.

hope this helps.
