Absoultely spectacular Truck, beautiful scenery in all threads. I've never seen snow on the Grand Canyon before, didn't think it even snowed there? Amazing.

Fantastic!
Lovely series of photos. Reminds me of my trip there in 1993 although it wasn't snowing then. The Grand Canyon is one of those places that once visited you never forget.

A place that makes you realise just how small you really are. I took a fight in 1990 over the Canyon. I was at Nellis for Red Flag. Las Vegas had become the same every day, so I was looking for a few other things to do. The flight and a trip to the Hoover Dam was a great use of my spare time. The best part was the that the flight was with one of out pilots and as soon as we took off I had control. I was heavily into gliding at the time and was quite willing to slum it at the controls of power

Thanks for the look here,.....I'd soooo love to take a couple of hours there, with camera and tri-pod in hand to see if I could bring back some shots which would do justice to the wonder of nature........

Never been to the Grand Canyon but I never knew there was ever snow there, even in the Winter time.
Nice shots

Thanks guys! I will be returning again sometime so I can get down into the canyon and see it from a better angle. It truly is breath taking just viewing it from the rim.
Cory...I was about 500 miles from the skywalk, it's not actually part of the National Park, it's up closer to Vegas near the North Rim. I was hoping to go out on it but where I was there were signs posted in the tourist area explaining that we weren't even near it
Apparently the officials got sick of answering that question haha.

I was not even aware Skywalk existed. Thank you for the link Cory. After a search, I found a really good picture of it, of the rather large variety. See
Twofer
. I had to crop it a good bit to get the file size manageable. I can not even imagine the engineering requred for such a project.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

They had a really good documentary on TV (Discovery I think) about how it was built and all that, I found it very interesting.

I bet. I would have liked to see that. Maybe it will run again at some point.

Both good. I also watch a lot on the History channel. And to think I hated history in school. Now I am very interested in it.

Justin, I also saw that documentary. It was really good at explaining everything about building it and the technology used.
