The FORCE !!!  Grin

Just completed a little fun (yet ultra challenging) close formation flight with Recorder. You know, sometimes you get in that Sci-Fi mood...

First shot is just to show how bad I am at aerobatics. I can't even follow myself in a loop  Grin
(see the speedometer ? I'm *about* to faaaaaaaaaaaall  Grin )
...

But when I fly level and stable, it's ok Smiley

...

...

(you can see the Geneva lake in the background  Cool )
...

...

Bonus shot: another try with another plane... unfortunately, this one would loose manoeuvrability when going too fast, so it was no a good choice... :/
...

Hope you like Smiley
C&C welcome as usual!

That reminds me of one of my cousins. When he was little, he could not say the words, "dump truck". He always said, "dumb 'f' word.  Grin

Nice shots.  You're not in the Naboo in the last one, are you?  It's that Jedi fighter? (One heck of an afterburner effect on that puppy!  Tak about "Riding fire"!)

But asside from that, as long as I'm in the "painting mood", I think the Naboo could use an "Indy" treatment...   Smiley

I never remember the exact name of the plane I'm using in the last shot. It's the plane used by Obiwan Kenoby in the second episode, seems like the precursor of the Tie-Fighter. It even has the same kind of wings, and you can extend or retract them with the water rudder command Smiley

EDIT: Found the name, it's a Kuat Systems ETA-2 Actis "Jedi Interceptor"

Here it is:

The Naboo fighter can be downloaded right here at Simviation. I don't remember if the ETA-2 is here too, but in any case you can find it at SimOuthouse, FS2004 Addons, filter by author "Piglet". (You must register to download)

Yup, that's the one.

I believe they are both available in the SimViation DS9 download Misc page.

That one's from the third episode.

Great shots as always. I fly this occasionally as well.

Cool

Ah that was in the third one ?
Thanks for the correction, B-Valvs Smiley
I have to admit that the episodes 1-2-3 were so BORING compared to the "originals" 4-5-6 that I saw them only once (at the cinema, never looked at them again on TV). So my memories about those three episodes are far from being reliable Tongue

And it even has R2 on board. I almost missed seeing him because of the color matching. Neat.  Smiley
