For $150 or so you can get a Saitek or CH brand flight yoke and throttle.  Check it out.

I've been using the Logitech Extreme 3Dpro for two years now, and I love it. Paid $30 for it, has lots of assignable buttons, and a twist grip.

Highly recommended. Smiley

Bought a Saitek X52 when I started, about a year ago and it's not bad.  Did a few little mods to the spring area and keep it lubed with candle wax.  One really nice feature is the separate throttle so, especially for fighters and Cub-types, it feels natural.  They also have a version they call the "PRO" - caveat emptor there  Smiley.

It pays to read the Forums. I had asked a while back about what to do with my Saitec AV8TR because it was getting tough to use (Even after cleaning the gimball). Post went off the bottom of the page with a big goose egg. Did you cut away a piece of the spring? The wax seems like a good idea.  Sorry that I am off topic. If you have some tips, PM me, Thanks.
