does anyone know what im doing wrong?  I am currently creating some scenery for Galveston, TX and have made an Oil company HQ's with 4 Helipads (1 on the roof) and a hospital with 4 helipads (1 on the roof) and some offshore oil rigs.  Everything works fine except when i try to add people on the oil rigs or on the roof helipads.  For some reason when i load the scenery the people on the rigs end up in the water below where i origianlly placed them but when im in the object placement tool they show up in their proper spot.  I have people at the helipads on the ground and they show up just fine and in the right spot, same with the ambulances at the hospital helipads.  Is there a problem with the scenery shortcut that will not allow you to place objects off the ground (i.e. on top of a buiding or on an elevated helipad?) please help so i can fix this and share my scenery Smiley

thanks for the info. it is much appreciated.  i went ahead and uploaded my scenery here on simviation.  its under FSX scenery.  It should be under the newest.  It contains 5 offshore oil rigs an Oil Company HQ's with 4 helo landing pads, a hospital with 4 landing pads and an accident site with 2 flipped over tanker trucks that are on fire.  hope everyone enjoys and please if you find any bugs or problems feel free to message me. hope you all enjoy. I will try and contact Abacus about my problem

Unless Abacus has released something new that I am not aware of, their EZ Object Placing program is designed to work in FS2004 only - not FSX.

The Instant Scenery program from Flight1 - which is much improved version of EZ - works in both versions of FS.

Opa - you're right.

Abacus' EZ Scenery was for FS2004 only.  The developer "jumped ship"  and created the "Instant Scenery"  for both FS-X and FS2004.

The "Scenery Shortcut"  is a freebie, a simple little utility that takes advantage of the FSX capabilities.  It's just that, a basic object placer.
