maybe just a handful of higher ups in Micro$oft want to cut 5,000 peoples jobs and possibly cause them to loose their houses, cars, children's college tuitions that they saved for, and almost their very lively hood for what?????? "oh, the economy is going to hell in a handbasket and we cant pay these people."

Well guess what Micro$oft, our *8142 signatures and GROWING say that you can, and SHOULD keep these people employed.  How about YOU cutting that 3 week vacation to Cancun, Mexico, or Hawaii, or the Virgin Islands; or even using such places to hold COMPANY MEETINGS using COMPANY MONEY.  It's time to cut spending in other places to that your workers won't have to loose their houses, cars, kids college funds.  Also, why don't you cut YOUR Christmas Bonus by 25% and disperse that to your employees??  Give your workers a reason to WANT to come to work, to give us, the end user / consumer the best possible video game that could ever be put together!?

Did someone say 5,000 people worked at ACES? Seems like a lot to pump out a 30Gb flight-sim every three or four years...

I am homebrewer. I had 633 posts when for some unknown reason, my account disappeared...

Considering that they had to basically re-create the world & most things on it each time, plus design detailed craft to travel within it,  I'm surprised that few people could do it that quickly.  Shocked
