After a LONG gap, I've got back into CFS2,I'VE FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING Embarrassed

I had the "No CD "patch ,that's OK. . .
How do you disable the movie ?
I just have written down " in main section - COMBAT FS .CFG (add line)Show logo=0 "
WHERE'S THE COMBAT FS . CFG file ? ? I cant find it . . .? ?

First of all welcome back to our community . My first recommendation is for you to read this post http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1117604819/all

It has the address of many Websites dedicated to this hobby and it also has tips to increase the enjoyment of flying through this program!

the CFG is a file within the Combat flight Simulator 2 folder. Look for it and open it up through your notepad.

Thanks for that . . .it's a read file I need then , not a proper folder, forgot that . . .I drifted away from CFS2 ,on to CFS3 , forgotten battles etc etc . . .then had to get on with making a living Cry

I was sad to read Microsoft were closing down CFS2 software teams,so I went and found the old CFS2 I had . . . it's still not bad I think. . . Cool

I'm running FOXFOURS Korean war , the only one I never tried was the RED STAR campaign,I shall remedy that . . .

Happ, long time no see! Get into the Red Star missions. I've been a tester for them and they are SERIOUSLY addictive. I was over Korea last night scrapping with Migs Cool

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

re CFS2 CFG file Roll Eyes

it's not openly displayed in XP /office setup . . .you just get four squares red/blue/yellow/green with CFS2 under it, hovering the cursor's N B G either just say's configuration file, I had to open ALL the like files 'til I found the CFG one . . .ho hum . .
Hey OZZY, the RED STAR campaign's great ! MIG's handle really well, still got the old problem of no response from the opposition tho' overshot a time or three and they never blew my ass off . . .or am I just LUCKY Cheesy

Air Brakes are toggle D right ?

Hmm, red star's . . .interesting . . .if you crank up the skill rating to ace there's more attacking response, the AI's take a lot of bringing down, even point blank your hosing shots into 'em to do any damage . . . & y'need the cannons as well . . .Tom's up to his usual tricks I see . . . the wingman hit's ya up the ass when you land Huh

. . .ho hum . . .no trucks on the runway tho' . . .YET . . . Roll Eyes
