I have my fingers crossed that Calgary can finally sort out their away form and take it to Chicago and win a game.  They just need to win the 1 and I'd be confident in them winning the clincher at the saddledome.

These teams aren't going quietly are they?  San Jose sticks it out one more time and makes it to another game, trying to catch the Ducks, they need to win the next 2 to advance.

Rangers lose and it will be a deciding game 7 for them.

Chicago dominates Calgary last night, brings them up 3-2 in the series, can Calgary pull it through in the next two games?

Watching the Jersey Carolina game now, it's looking like Carolina really wants to win tonight.

I'm in a holding pattern now, waiting for the other teams to sort it out so I can start watching the Wings again.   Tongue

Sorry for the loss Angus, I was pulling for the Rangers as well.

Canes end the game with 30 seconds left and knock the Devils out.  Round 2 starts soon.  GO WINGS!!

Sorry for the Rangers loss, I thought the Caps might have came back...  Undecided

Go Canes what a finish!  Cool
Boston and Carolina should be good...

Also Detroit and Anahiem will be a great series. Hopefully Hiller can still play great like he did in round 1. Cool

San Jose is not Detroit.  Hiller could play better than he did in round 1, and Detroit will skate circles around him.  They need to turn up their leadership if they want to take on the Wings.  Good job beating the guppies...I mean Sharks...but now it's playoff time  Cool  Game on!

Well it wont be about the amount of shots taken in that series because Hiller is no problem. Its what kind of shots your making. If its a good shot that keeps coming back one will go in the net. If there bad shots then none will...

You should be suprised and dont feel bad if you get angry at him if he makes some wonderful saves that might cost you the game like in the Sharks series.

The Sharks averaged 39 shots a game...
Hiller had 2 shutouts in 6 games...
and only let by 10 goals...
not saying I want the ducks to win that series but I just hope the Wings...(and their fans)...dont get to over confident for a team that has a low ranked seed.

Although who am I to say they could easly choke and the Wings win in 5 games or something. Grin

Wink  The Ducks are fully capable of stopping the Wings, but it's going to take more than a goalie.  With the Sharks, all they did was shoot, there's a reason several Sharks are losing their jobs.  Now the Ducks will need to play both sides of the game...it will be a good series, and I expect to lose a couple, but I also expect to advance.  Then again, I'm a bit biased  Wink

Ah very true!

Although im with you their. I expect it to be at the most a 6 game Wings win 4-2 in the series. It should be a good matchup but lets just hope it doesn't get to outof hand for either team.  Cool

Go Canes!  Cool
