While searching around for something to occupy a rare few moments of "free time," I decided to ask Alexa.com to compare simviation.com, sim-outhouse.com, flightsim.com and avsim.com...  Wink

http://alexa.com/siteinfo/simviation.com+sim-outhouse.com+avsim.com+flightsim.co...

What struck me is that in the category "Time on Site," Simviation is the overall clear "leader..."  I suspect that simply means that on average folks spend more time in the forums than they do on the other three sites.

Further supporting that supposition is that Sim-Outhouse is ranked #2 in this same category.

Simviation.com also takes the lead on the lowest number of "Bounces," which speaks very highly of both the website and the host used...  Wink

In the category "Traffic Rank," AVSIM -not surprisingly- is the leader, but both Simviation and Flightsim.com are close contenders... Sim-outhouse.com doesn't even rate as a "blip" on the graph though...  Shocked

It came as no surprise to see the breakdown of AVSIM's users main interest:

78.6% library.avsim.net
13.1% avsim.com
6.9% forums1.avsim.net
0.8% forums.avsim.net
0.5% avsim.net

I find the graphical display of "Traffic Rank" quite fascinating myself. Although there are differences in absolute numbers, all three of the "top three" have remarkably similar graphical profiles...

Of course, it's real easy to spot where AVSIM was offline for over a week, since there's a HUGE dip in the graph... Smiley
