I have a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical (not wireless) which has now decided to control my volume from the 'wheel'. I was wearing my headphones the other evening taking a leisurely flight over the Alps and went to tweak my AP altitude by using the mouse wheel when bang! I nearly blew my ears off! This odd situation exists in all my aircraft. It's not associated either with my headphones because it reacts the same on speakers. I've also tried to get over the problem my playing around with the mouse settings with no success. Can anyone save my ears from further damage or should I just invest in a diferent mouse? Thanks guys.  Shocked   Crocker

HAve you checked your keyboard/mouse settings in relation to how you have them set up in the sim? Flaps,Spoliers, gear, etc? Maybe you set one of them as the volume on your wheel?

Mike, thanks for your thoughts, that's one place I didn't look. I'll do some more digging and see what I can come up with.  cheers
