No really. I can't seem to get my sound to work. I am using the sound card that came with the MOBO. Supreme FX I believe. The device manager says it is working properly but no matter what jack I plug into I get nothing.
My connectors on my Altec Lansings are black, yellow, green. Naturally they don't tell (the connectors) where they go. The sound card ports are (in this order)
Grey= side out
Black= rear out
Orange= cen/sub
Pink= mic in
Green= front out
Blue= line in
They don't make these speakers anymore so I couldn't get any info as to what wires are what. I took the Audigy out of my Dell but it's AGP. The speakers work fine with it in the Dell. Not sure what to do at this point. Any ideas?

Also, you may want to try
completely
uninstalling the sound drivers you have now, and reinstalling the ones that go with the speakers.
(if they are still available)
Not familiar with this setup so thats all I can do from here.
Also check you BIOS settings and see if anything relating to sound is mentioned in there.

I fixed it. Apparently, Vista doesn't like it when you try to fix things when it's on. I turned it off, figured out the connection sequence, powered back up, and all is well now.
Thanks guys!!
