EmbarrassedI just flew couple minutes ago around LA ,I was shock by the Ground image ,is a real satelite photo and buildings adds.
I understand the world is too big to build each one like it is ,beside It would need 10 dvd for FSX instead two.

But at least MS should gave us easy tools to builds our citys and airport like it is.

I was using Tileproxy ,wich showed to me how diferent is to fly with the look of your city like it is,Unfortuanly it requires a high speed connection to load the ground well

It take so much time

This is the way LA (Im sure you all know  how it looks in fsx) without anything just Acceleration and nothing more

LOS ANGELES

This is my city using tileproxy and yahoomaps as server

Valencia-Venezuela

This is the Dissaster made by FSX to look something like a crazy city
Valencia-Venezuela

look the diference, now with a yahoomaps,Tileproxy images Just like  FSX LA default scenery
Valencia-Venezuela

I wish there would be a way to fix this ,I have tried FSX-Kml with google, there aren't no tool to do this ..

How can I paste the images ,taking by my self from google map ..there's got to be a way  Embarrassed

You are simply asking how to create a photoreal scenery.
I guess you would get much more answers and advises if you would create the same topic in the "scenery creation" section of the SimV forum Wink

The problem here is if you manage to create that kind of a dteailed scenery you will need a super computer to display it . Cool

No Gary, just the ground photos , I does well using tileproxy and all this scenery is save & paste momentarily in cache, (my computer runs much better with it) but as I said I take too much time to load, and sometime I don't have internet..
It can be done ,won't eat more computer resourses than already eat, the question is:What software can do this? and how?

Hey, That be great! But...... I can't see any autogen(-erated) buildings at that place you put the photorealistic ground.
I'd still like to see those buildings! Where are they?

the NL2000 team made a completely accurate photo-real freeware scenery for the complete Netherlands. It took them years too do it, and the results is adding up too 5 DVD's. Imagine trying to do such a thing for the world.

I almost finishing the city,  to make Buildings is the most easy part(I could remake New york If I wanned too  Tongue), the dificult is that Now I have to make the "Night Maps"It means to change 120 Bmps 1220x1220 Dxt3 bmps into the night Undecided  each one of them to dark it ,and light the streets  Undecided CryOMG!!

EDIT: I went thru the software Roll Eyes just to place some buildings JUST FOR YOU!! of course these were picked random by me ,this are not the way the building goes ,Just to show you how easy it is..

...

It really is another diferent thing photoscenery is not easy job (I rather make an aircraft) but it worth it ,I have the mountains and the photo ,sometimes I feel I'm really flying over my city
