Hi

Don't know if it's just me but with any internal or external view in FSX I am sometimes unable to use the + and - keys to zoom in and out. Works sometimes, doesn't work other times. Can't seem to pin down why?

Anyone else have this?

'+' and '-' are not concerning only the zoom, they can be used for any selectable object.
For example, if you select the Magnetos by pressing 'M', pressing + or - afterwards will end in modifying the position of the Magnetos, so pressing - several times will eventually shut down your piston engine Smiley

In order to modifiy the zoom, you have first to 'select' the zoom, by pressing 'backspace'. This will select the zoom and reset it to 1x. Then you will be able again to modify it with + and -, until you press M or another selectable multi-position stuff.

I agree with all the stuff daube said, but I'd like to add: sometimes I have to activate the window (by clicking into the window with mouse/touchpad) to be able to zoom... Maybe that helps too.

if you reset the view by pressing "backspace" the zooming with + and - works again.

I find scrolling through the views once will re-activate the zoom.
