while playing FSX, I landed during a fall evening at a little airport in Alaska, for the life of me i cannot recall which one, but the FBO was a little log cabin (or appeared thats what they were going for) and there were several piper cubs parked in the grass with a few parked cars and a few round topped hangars.

The only thing missing when i pulled my cub next to the other cubs was the greeting from the airport dog, smoke billowing from the FBO's chimney filling the air with that crisp Smokey smell and the comradeship of other cub owners on the grass ramp! i thought it was a neat place and have ventured out there searching for similar places. but with very little luck!

I used to be strictly airliners only, but FSX does such a great job of simulating the low and slow feel of General Aviation that i find myself frequently loading up www.skyvector.com on one screen and FSX on the other and making a back country flight in a Cub or Maule or Stearman.

the question i am posing to the rest of you is this:

Do you know of many (or any) airports in FSX that offer a really good back country general aviation feel through convincing and interesting or beautiful scenery?
