Anyone can point me to a good and free GPS tutorial please?? I can make basic things like from here to there, but have a total ignorance of all the other features

Have you tried the learning center ?  Select it from free flight.. then click the navigation thumbnail.. and then, "Using the GPS"..

It's a pretty good tutorial..
