Have you guys ever been some place and request fuel, and it says "fuel truck at this location" ??? I have landing at a few Int Airports, and started at them, and it tells me this. I have tried it with 3 different planes just to be sure: E-3C, Air Force One, and Default 747-400. What am I supposed to do after doing tuch-n-go's for so long and when I need fuel I can't get it.

Also, is there a way to make the water FX like when you are flying fast and low near the water, or when you are taking off or landing in the rain or snow, and it makes that huge wake turbulence behind you. Or when you are hard on the thrust reverser in the rain or snow?

To get a fuel truck to come to you, you need to park at a gate or ramp (on the parking line is considered parked). Wink Also, make sure your airport traffic is at least set to minimum. Smiley

As for your second Q....first of all.  Shocked At that B-1B. And secondly, I think FSX has reverser spray default, spray when flying low...it should be possible to make an effect like that.

Yes, you have to set your airport traffic to high to enjoy fuel trucks etc...

Yes spray under a plane is clearly visible, one require high settings for that in scenery. Looks great with rain and a cross-winds, when you taxi you clearly see the visual effects, stunning. Looks great in snowy weather too.

Yes water does spray when you take of from water, looks rather nice, once again set all settings on med/high.

Hope ya PC is build for the kill.

HOWEVER, the B-1B in that picture is clearly skimming the water, no effect has been produced to show this to my knowledge.

I have air port traffic set to high, and so far I have only had fuel at one air port, and that was after I flew from Charleston to Princess Juliana. The next time I stopped at The Bahama, and parked at the terminal, and it said "No Fuel truck at this location" and I was dead on the spot in front of the terminal, so I just did a push back and left.

As far as the water FX, I flew an An-225 40 feet off the water, and there was no low pressure water effect like I wanted. And I don't think it did it with the XB-70 also.

And this was also what I meant by wake turbulence http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/aircraft/images/c-17iii_030202-f-...
I have not seen this FX at all.

As far as my PC I have this:
AMD 64x2 Duel Core 6000+
2GB of Ram 2.0GHz
Duel 8500GT direct X10 512mb Graphics cards

and I need more ram.

Because there is no fuel truck at that airport. Only a select few (granted, there are lots) of airports have the feature.

Not exactly: I have the airport traffic set on minimum (second lowest, not tested with no traffic) and I have no problem getting fueltruck or a visual pushback/cargo!  Roll Eyes

Welcome to SimV FthMtl! Please use the search function in future to find out - this question is asked quite often. Smiley Wink You must park at a gate, and press SHIFT+E then quickly press 2 to get service. Make sure airport traffic (not aircraft) is turned up to at least minimum, and find a gate with service trucks. And for your second question, there are no cabin announcements, at least in default aircraft. Smiley

I have my settings set to high, and I do park on/at the gates, and the only thing I can get 100% of the time is a push back. I can under stand that when I land at an Air Force Base, that there might not be a truck there, but when I part at Int. Air Ports, this should not happen.

I think the problem is, you (overload_chris) are calling the fuel truck, then not waiting long enough for it too get there. If you have low airport traffic settings, there won't be as many fuel trucks, so, it'll take a bit longer to get too you.

...but normaly it shows in red letters that the fuel truck is coming and how many planes are in the holding pattern before you... Without that sign you'll have to wait for longer  Wink
