I'm new, so this might sound like a dumb question, but why is it when I start a new flight, the game will place my aircraft on one runway at the start, but ground always wants me to take-off on another at the other end of the airport.  I mostly fly out of Chicago Midway (KMDW).  I there any way to fix this problem, I just don't like all of the taxiing!  Any help would be appreciated. Hi, welcome to SimViation.

In future, please choose a more explicit title for your topic. "Question" doesn't mean anything and will most likely not attract anybody to answer you.
However...  Roll Eyes

When you create your flight (free flight mode), and you choose your airport, make sure that you choose "Runway in service" in the dropdown listbox at the bottom of the screen. In this way, you are sure that you will be placed on the correct runway depending on the wind conditions. The most realistic stuff would be to choose one of the parking areas instead, so that you can taxi to the indicated runway without causing trouble to the rest of the AI traffic Smiley
