I created a completly new airport. It's in the list inside of fsx when I type in its ID. But GA Traffic doesn't find it. I have 'collected airports' several times. It just wont find it.   Cry

any ideas?

I appreciate it.

The way AI works is by sending aircraft on a number of predetermined routes manually programmed in.  The game won't automatically create new AI routes to an airport that wasn't in the game from the factory.

I think you misunderstood. I'm trying to add ai traffic with a program called GA Traffic. It isn't showing my airport in its list.. So I can't sellect my airport to edit its traffic. For some reason it isn't finding my airport.

Is there some kind of file that fsx has that lists all the default airports? If so, I think I need to append my airport to this list.. so when GA Traffic looks for all the airports.. it finds mine as well.

I appreciate it though.

Hello again:
Not sure if this will work for you or not, but you can try adding your airport to the default traffic bgl.  Go to avisms fsx utility page and download the decompiler (BGL FSXFS9 Decompiler). Decompile the trafficAircraft.bgl which is in the scenery/world/scenery folder and add your airport and coordinates to the airport text file. then compile all three text back to the bgl with ttools.

Thanks alot. Much appreciated. It should work once I fire it up.  Smiley

I've read that there are issues with ttools and fsx.. something about dates being in a different format. Can somebody confirm this? And if so, what would be the recommended compiler?
