If I've missed any teams out that you think should be there, tell me, and I'll add them
By the way, my vote goes to the Red Arrows, not only because they're the only team I've ever seen display...

Russian Knights...?
Also, the Swifts.
Russian Knights (I believe...) fly the largest current display aircraft, the Su-27 family.
The Swifts fly the MiG-29

O.K.
Please don't blame me if I don't know all of them - I'm only 13!
This poll exists for various reasons - I wanted to know about display teams and their popularity. I get a feeling this one could get interesting!
P.S. What country do the 'Swifts' represent? Are they another Russian one?

Gotta be the Frecce Tricolori. The others are great but the Frecce Tricolori has that italian flair!

Well, we all have our opinions... and I believe each team has its trademark.
Let me put it this way; There's not a single one that is less than stunning. It's hard to separate them.

Yes, the Swifts are another Russian air-demo team.
My vote? BA/TB/Swifts/RK =P... I can't pick just one!

Not seen any national display teams except the Red Arrows for several years. From those I have seen over the past 50 years or so I would have to choose the Frecce Tricolori for the reasons already mentioned.

SNOWBIRDS
Canada's Aviation Icons!
how can you not like them.
see below
http://www.airshowbuzz.com/videos/view.php?v=2f4a4ee4
Life and flight are beautiful and fragile. The Snowbirds have always lived passionately both on the ground and in the air. As you watch the video, remember this wonderful team in your heart... the great nation they represent... and the adventure of life they fly.
Fellow Canadians Act Fast...Vote for the Snowbirds

Swifts and Russian Knights both represent the same airbase...
Russian Knights have a few Su-35s too, but they dont use them at airshows yet.
Russian planes:
IL-76 (all standard length ones)
,
Tu-154 and Il-62
,
Tu-134
and
An-24RV

This is not meant to be a patriotic forum. Every display team listed has immense skill and talent... it's just a matter of personal preference. Please don't try to force people to pick a particular team.
EDIT; I'm gonna give this forum another 2 days then take a result.

Sorry but there's not much point to this type of poll. We've seen it all before many times. Most people will support their own country's team. It's only natural & the result will always reflect where the people who take the trouble to vote (& many members won't even look) either live or were born. It's impossible to give an unbiased view unless you've seen all the teams on the list with your own eyes. I've seen most of them at some time or another except for the Blue Angels, Snowbirds & the Russian teams. They are all good as they are the best of the best proudly representing their individual countries.

You are quite right. However if there was a world championship contest amongst these teams, then this is what would happen.
Thunderbirds and Blue Angels would think that it was a done thing and just a question of who was going to win between them.
The Frecce Tricolori and Patrouille de France would think that it was a done thing and just a question of who was going to win between them.
The Russian Knights would think that they would win, Solid Russian values over Capitalist scum.
The Snowbirds would put on a good show as would the Swifts, but no one would really expect much.
And the Red Arrows. Well, the Reds would not attend, because they already know that they are the best.
Matt
PS, it is no joke, they REALLY would not attend.
