Just read this on the UKAR forum... can't find any more info though or an official website, but looks like it could be good.  This is a small event held at South Gorley in the New Forest  - part of the former RAF Ibsley on 4th & 5th Aug. Flying in the afternoon both days.

Confirmed -         Pitts S2 (could change to an Extra 300)
                         Pembroke
                         Piper Cub formation
                         Taylorcraft Auster
Possible -            Sea Vixen
                         Gnat
                         Jet Provost
                         Jungmann
                         Mustang
                         Fury FB11

Might be worth it to see G-CVIX and should be a great event with hills/trees as a backdrop rather than the norm.

You'll be lucky to see G-CVIX flying at all this year.

It's in the 'Possible' category, it means they might get it doesn't mean they are saying they WILL get it. The Vulcan is listed TBC by both RIAT and Waddington, but there's still every chance they won't get that after all isn't there. Wink

Interesting. I can't find anything on the planned event but I looked up the old airfield. Info & photos here. --> RAF Ibsley

Unless the CAA removes the non-aerobatic restriction it's quite likely the Jet Provost won't make it either. http://www.flyer.co.uk/news/newsfeed.php?artnum=525
