Well, I may see Brett there this year, but probably won't be doing any flying with you this time, dude.

Since I will be flying... weather has a lot to say about what I'll do and when. There's nothing to say you couldn't fly out of OSH for a night, to Green Bay (clean shower and good food).. and then either fly back in with me.. or take the shuttle (several run from Green Bay and Appleton)..  Or.. if the old car gives out and isn't worth repairing.. you might NEED to hire me for a ride all the way back home. Half the plane rent wouldn't be much more than a commercial ticket (prob less with that kinda notice)...lol

I've got a plane reserved from Friday 7-27 to Sunday 7-29.

I'll be leaving Columbus EARLY Friday morning ... from then on, it's all "up in the air", and depends on who's with me, the weather and whether or not we get a SimV meeting going. I'm only looking to spend a few hours at KOSH. All I really want to do is fly in; do a  little gawking, and fly out. If we do get a SimV thing lined up for either Friday or Saturday; that will be the day I plan on being there. KOSH is really just one stop for me, on what will pretty much be a lap around Lake Michigan with some island hopping and the Chicago VFR flyway (over the ghost of Meigs) as other priorities.

If we do meet up, and the weather allows..  I can make a few in/out flights so some of you can see what it's like to get in and out of the busiest airport in the world.

That would be fantastic, I would love to take some pictures from the air, I have tried to explain to people how big this thing is, and they think I'm exaggerating. A few pictures of the planes parked and the camp grounds might make them understand. I would also enjoy meeting some of you guys that I alway see on SimV. Sounds like a Friday evening or Saturday morning would work for you and I, who else is in?    Mark

I'm still planning to be there, but not sure yet if I'll drive in to enjoy the entire week or fly in mid-week with a pilot from my area... let's all keep each other posted; I'll PM my cell # to those concerned, on request.

Well, now it sounds like I will be going up Friday sometime, and staying through Saturday evening.  Brett, if you're giving rides in and out, I'd still be more than happy to pay my fair share for a flight.
