The guy that is being interviewed at the beginning is participating in Paris Dakar this year (even though he's ove 60 now), he's also still smoking loads of cigarettes...
Close to the end is the reason why in 1988 DAF decided not to participate with a factory team anymore... The DAF team from 2002-2006, while still using DAF trucks is operated by the De Rooy family themselves. The 2007 team uses GINAF trucks (independent manufacturer, but operates ofteh as the special vehicle department for DAF)
