i´m back... Smiley

but i think i broke my FS... i tried the many recommendations in the FAQ for getting better FPS and now it won´t load past 32% Smiley

i have used the small .bat file to convert my textures, plus i downloaded and installed correctly all of the replacement textures in FSXMission.com
...
i also tried fiddlig with the FSX.cfg file, but after i noticed it wouldn´t load i switched it back to the original...

now, the textures, i did not back up... who needs ten gigs of unused files anyways... Smiley

....well, maybe ME, now that i broke it Smiley

....

now what? reinstall???
...or, cain i still fix it Smiley

sorry dude if you havnt backed up replcaed files their is only one way and your gonna need about an hour or so o free PC time

I had this problem once with FS9, so i decided to check all of the cab files for the appropriate files, but i can imagine that would be a tedious job and reinstalling would be faster. Undecided

damn! that means i have to go all the way up to my grandma´s and get my DVD, which is with my brother Tongue

....oh well, i had to go there anyways, he has the only working copy of my last FS project also... and... it´s just ten minutes away Grin
