I'll tell you what.

Going into Best buy, going to the PC games, seeing the last copy of FSX deluxe sitting there, picking it up, looking at this software that I've been waiting 7 months for, and knowing all the while that I can't buy it because I know my computer can't handle it.

The hardest part is puting it back on the shelf. Sad

I think I need help. Tongue

Same thing happens to me (though for me, this happens with every game, not just FSX). I always go into the game stores and look at all the shiny new releases (and even some  of the dusty older ones) and hang my head in shame, because I know that I'll never be able to enjoy them.

And yet, I still go into game stores. I must enjoy torturing myself.

I wouldn't be so sure you're computer can't handle it.  With all the tweaks there are already, I think most computers can handle FSX just fine.

Airshow_lover, this is not what will kill you.

What will just kill you is when you will buy the software, and then you'll be forced to change your nickname to 'Slideshow_lover"  Grin Grin Grin

Ok, I bought a brand new notebook.  I saw all the minimum requirements were fine.  I got home, and found out later that I wasn't even near what was recommended.  So my graphics aren't exactly what I thought was promised.  Over all though, I'm pretty happy.

by the way it recommends 3.6 ghz processer!  I've only got 1.8
bummer.
