Anyone else tried it........How the hell do you get the man of the walkway.....I picked up the other two but I just kept crashing when picking him up.

I've tried it 3 times now.....Is it possible.

Its still a hell of a good mission though!

I can't wait I try this stuff...

Each time I read comments on the missions, I remember about what people kept saying back in the past when we learned FSX would have those missions. Everybody was thinking only about FS becoming a game... I immediately thought something like "Wow, MS is doing it 'Search And Rescue'-style, that's great, that's completely great".

The fact is that those mission are not just done for the fun of it, they really are a challenge to your pilot skills.

PS: and yes, Search And Rescue (the very first one) also had elephants and lost people in the mountains. It also had some missions that will not be possible to create in FSX, like going to the place where they are building a plant, picking the top of a chimney and putting it gently on the top of the chimney body... I never succeded this mission Tongue

Thanks for headsup, Mic . . . I haven't got around to this one yet but have flown FS helos since FS98 when we used to land atop the WTC buildings.

My FSX Mission dilemma is getting credited for completing the one into St. Maarten's; I've landed and exited at the first turnoff but am thinking maybe one has to rollout to the end of the runway.

After three TNCM attemps (and good, shortfield techniques), it's time to try something else to get my badge. Gee, just like when I was in BoyScouts  Tongue

The high rise is the bug building at the opposite end to the helipad.......the walkway/gangway joins the two sections.

The highrise guy is pretty easy....you just gotta approach from the right side to get the wind balanced.......its the other guy whos hard...with the cranes and everything blowing around.

What the hell are you saying you all ?
Remember, FSX is baaaaaaaad, FSX is a gaaaaame, a game with arcade helo physics, which you can play with an XBox controller....
Hehehe, just remembering what was said when we first saw the preview videos  Grin

I'm reminded of airshows, air races, RC club "fun flys" and such where the sole purpose is to have fun!

How may real world pilots have done such  fun things as flying to Main to pick up some fresh lobster for the days BBQ? Or, how about flying to an airport just for lunch because of the great burgers to be had at the airport cafe'..... solely because it would be fun !

Yeah, "missions" have their place. Smiley

Home airports are KMGJ and KSWF in Orange County, NY&&Stop by and say hello. Smiley
