Apparently the animation feature that runs the jetway is a Model Shader 2.0 or above code.

That can't be correct as I a FX5500 ower have had the jetway's working, i've found out that its part of the advanced animation's and with my copy things like wing flexes don't work (before any smart people say "turn on advanced animations" i have) so it might be a problem during install... or the config file for the advanced animations.
Kind Regards
Benji

I would also have to agree that model shader 2.0 isnt the root of the problem...

in an effort to increase framerates, specially near larger airports with many AI AC's and also during Multiplayer....I have shaders defulted to 1.2 using the Rivatuner utility for my Nvida 7800gt OC and that image I posted is with that setting in place.

So far, though I may be mistaken...the effects of turning off the 2.0 shader effects the water texture, and some of the shading and texture effects of the defult AC's.

As I said...I could be mistaken...

And n4gix, aren't they all already typed in the default aircraft.cfg file? Because I checked every aircraft's .cfg files and they all had exits assigned.

The original post was about an import from FS9 wasn't it?  All imported a/c will have to be updated with this information to have the jetway system work...  Shocked Sad

He is right. You DO need a video card with Model Shader 2.0 or higher. I went out and bought a new card. ATI Radeon X1300 PRO 256MB just temporarily till the DX10 cards come out. It has Model Shader 3.0 in it, and after I installed it, the jetways MOVED!!!  Grin Grin Grin Now I also have the default B744 wings normal and the textures of taxi way signs aren't white anymore!  Grin But there is bad news for me now... I bought one more GB RAM and I accidently installed it incorrect and now my computer won't boot anymore  Embarrassed Embarrassed So now I have to get a new mother board and proccessor... Just my luck...

Well, I installed the RAM incorrect at first and tried to boot it but it didn't boot. Then I installed it correct afterwards, and it still didn't boot. I think my motherboard is dead or something. Oh well... At least I can now upgrade to a top of the line computer. I'm planning to buy a PCI-e motherboard SLI with an Intel P4 3.6GHz proccessor. I'm not sure if I should get the Core 2 Duo though. And also, for the Model Shader, it says it on the box, I looked at it and it said Model Shader 3.0 supported.

If your upgrading go dual core. Getting a P4 now is just a waste of money.

Here are my settings:

And my system specs are:

Windows XP P4 2.53GHz
GeForce FX5200 128MB
512MB RAM

I noticed you have Light Bloom checked. The FX 5200 does not support that feature therefore you won't see the effect. I have an FX 5500 on my other computer and switching it on/off has no effect on my fps, but on my other computer with a 9800 Pro, turning it off I got an 8 - 10 fps increase.

Also, turn off Aircraft Casts Shadows On Self. You will see a dramatic increase in fps as well.
