i put very little trust in anything relesed by by a company as large as microsoft. in waspiflab's post the water looks very suspect to exageration of qauility (sorry, bad english:Smiley). concept art is NOT something i would base expectations on. i really REALLY hope they are accurate though

Vololiberista, you have been spotted !  Grin
This is just a painting. Everybody knows it's just a painting since several months, when it as first shown. "Concept art".

And anyway, this concept art has nothing really impressive, excepted the sun light rays...
The water, you can already get that with DX9. I'm not talking about LockOn, or Pacific Fighters, or Silent hunter III, I'm talking about Virtual Skipper...

...

...

So I really hope DX10 can do better... and if it does as much as what they say, t will be for sure very impressive. But DX9 can already be impressive enough in the meanwhile Wink

You have to honest how poopoo FSX looks in the demo ( ok I know it's a demo ) but this will get so much better once vista and DX10 is out. Apart from the water it's not realy that different to FS2004 at the moment and thats because thier just toying with us.

fsX demo looks amazing, and the water is WAY diferant from fs9.
