Downloaded the FSX Demo and after hearing about various problems with XP SP2, I installed it anyway.
Quite impressed with the demo, but now most of my application software has stopped working and my video camera and still camera  are not recognized. I've since reverted back to SP1 and everythings OK again.  Looks like I'll be sticking with FS9 unless there's a solution out there somewhere?

Did you check if there was any driver updates for your cameras ? If the original drivers are not compatible with SP2, maybe the manufacturers have released some compatible drivers Smiley

Wha'bout a double boot?

if you dispise SP2 to a point where FSX is not worth it, maybe you could try having two installs of windows (like me, one for emergencies) of which, one would carry SP2, and the other could be used for your other non-FSX activities Grin

works for me...

What's wrong with SP2? There's nothing wrong with it.

If you're drivers don't work, look for updates.

First thing I did was look for drivers, nothing available ! !
The other problem is a lot of my Software applications dont work anymore:
Guitar Rig
Guitar Studio
Cakewalk music studio
Sony Image Transfer
WinDVD
Roland Sound Canvas
Magix audio lab
Evolution Audio
                                   For Starters.
Looks like I might wait for Vista and set up a dual boot system

I don't get people.

I used to hav SP1.  Everything worked.  I then installed SP2.  Everything except 1 thing still worked.   I just downloaded a new version from the internet.  That one program then worked again.

Simple.

Plus, I still hav only 1 OS.

...&&FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack&&1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.
