I simply coppied the "FSDZigns Lockheed 049a Constellation"  folder into the demo and, it works perfectly! Smiley
I believe I had all the gauges in the connie  panel folder.

In the demo, the aircraft folder is:
SimObjects>Airplanes

Also, you have to copy the "envmap.bmp" from FS-9 main texture folder to the demo main texture folder.
If you don't do this FS-9 aircraft textures will will be semi transparent.
Evidently, a copy of envmap.bmp was mistakenly left out of the demo.

BTW, the simObjects folder is interesting.
I suspect that many mods for FSX will be for what's in this folder. Smiley

I just loaded the Piper cub into FSX and it also seems to work ok.

I also loaded the Connie but can't see the cockpit.

Did you try hitting F10 to bring up the connie 2d panel?

Well, this falls under embarassing moments.

Pressed the F10 button and the panel did in fact appear.

Thanks for the known but forgotten information.
